Ramirez wants to give as many students as possible new backpacks, and his hope for this year’s drive is to donate 600 backpacks filled with school supplies to the 18 elementary schools in the El Paso area. He hopes to brighten the world of students whose families may not have the resources to provide them with the supplies necessary for a new school year.

The backpack drive will take place from 12pm-4pm on Saturday, August 6th at the Kmart on 9484 Dyer Street.
