Success Story: Vallejo Teen Jourdan Duncan Now in College, Thanks to Cop’s GoFundMe

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. | February 10, 2017 -- Last fall, the Benicia Police Department spotted 19-year-old Jourdan Duncan of Vallejo walking 5 hours to and from work so he could earn money to fix his car and go to college. The Benicia PD bought Jourdan a bike and also started a GoFundMe to help him raise money for a car and college costs. To date, the campaign has raised over $41,000, with donations flowing in from almost every state in the nation.

Four months after the campaign launch, Jourdan has purchased a car and is currently enrolled as a freshman at Solano Community College in Fairfield.

Jourdan’s campaign is still live and you can donate through the link below.
