Seattle Father Starts New GoFundMe to Erase Washington State’s School Lunch Debt

After Raising Nearly $100k to Eliminate Lunch Debt in Local Districts, Jeff Lew Starts Campaign to Do the Same for the Entire State of Washington

Redwood City, California | August 25, 2017 — Jeff Lew and Stephen Medawar of LunchDebt.org, in partnership with the World Impact Network, an international educational organization, have started a new GoFundMe to eliminate school lunch debt in all 295 of Washington state’s school districts. Lew, a Seattle father of three, has already raised $100,000 on GoFundMe to eliminate debt in his local school districts.

Thanks to Jeff Lew, many campaign organizers on GoFundMe have been inspired to take action in their own communities to work to improve the school lunch experience for all American children. In total, the GoFundMe community has raised over $375,000 to erase school lunch debt.
