New on GoFundMe: Childhelp, Phoenix Fire Department, and Phoenix Police Department Join Together for Superhero September

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., August 25, 2016 -- Childhelp, a nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for their Superhero September event in partnership with the Phoenix Fire and Police Departments. Superhero September was created to empower children suffering from physical and sexual abuse and its goal is to share the stories of superheroes to help these children overcome their abuse and begin the healing process.

On Saturday, September 3rd, Childhelp will host the Superhero September event with more than 25 costumed heroes, games for children, and hamburgers and hot dogs.
