More Than $650,000 Raised on GoFundMe for Victims of Kansas Shooting

Over 18,000 donors from all 50 states and 25 countries have contributed to three GoFundMes

Redwood City, California | February 24, 2017 — After a horrific shooting in an Olathe, Kansas bar left one man dead and two wounded, thousands of donors from around the world have donated to GoFundMes to help those affected. In total, over $650,000 has been raised from more than 18,000 donations coming from all 50 states, D.C., and 25 countries.

The GoFundMe for the family of Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who tragically lost his life on Wednesday night, thus far has raised $401,931 from 11,092 donors in just one day. A campaign for both Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Madasani, who survived the attack, has raised $59,348 from 1,668 donors. And a campaign for Ian Grillot, whom many are calling a hero for his intervention on behalf of the targeted men, has raised $196,489 from 5,625 donors.
